[Remote] Loss Control - Risk Management Consultant I

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Cincinnati Insurance Companies is looking for a Loss Control Risk Management Consultant to join their team. This role is responsible for loss control service management for key commercial accounts, requiring the development of service plans and conducting risk evaluations. The position is primarily remote but requires periodic travel for business and client meetings.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and coordinate service plans for key and complex accountsManage policyholder loss control services for key and complex accountsConduct corporate-level risk evaluations and reports for underwritingDevelop and maintain positive relationships with our local independent agency partners and their clientsDevelop and execute loss reduction and risk mitigation plans for policyholders to improve book of business quality and Key Account profitabilityProvide regular updates to policyholder risk management associates on program implementation and progressOversee management of key accounts and coordinate all loss control requests/inquiries from Key Accounts UnderwritingEnsure that solid relationships are developed and fostered with key accountsEnsure coordination of risk evaluations for key prospects and policyholders are adequately conducted in a timely mannerProvide regular updates to underwriting management on account status and service plans progressEnsure loss control service plans are customized and delivered in a uniform fashionDevelop and maintain positive relationships with Key Account division management, underwriters, claims, loss control specialists and loss control associatesDevelop and maintain positive relationships with field sales management and territory representativesEnsure technically detailed reports provide a clear assessment of risk and appropriate recommendations for the policyholder and underwriterUpdate territory loss control, field sales, and underwriting associates on the service status for key accountsUpdate agency personnel on services status for their clientsReview key account claims and loss trends to initiate loss mitigation effortsSkillsSolid understanding of the independent agency systemAbility to work remotely and have flexibility to travel (approximately 25%)Knowledge of commercial lines insurance products and coveragesKnowledge in hazard recognition and control for workers' compensation, property, fleet, general liability, and products liabilityAbility to develop and conduct training programs for large organizations with multiple locationsTime management skills and ability to work independently to accomplish goalsStrong business acumenStrong interpersonal, consultative, and organizational skillsStrong strategic thinking abilitiesStrong analytical skillsAbility to work independently to accomplish initiativesDemonstrated pursuit of continuing educationProficiencies in Microsoft Office tools and related softwareAbility to work effectively with customers, business partners and peersUndergraduate degree in applicable science or related experience and trainingProfessional designations such as CSP, CPCU, CRM, or ARMA minimum of 3-5 years loss control experience with a property & casualty insurance organizationExperience managing the service of large and complex accounts, including developing service instructions and service plans, and holding mid-year account reviewsExperience conducting corporate-level risk management assessment and evaluationsWe would prefer to have someone based in or around Washington, D.CBenefitsEligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.We offer a variety of benefits and amenitiesCompany OverviewThe Cincinnati Insurance Companies markets business, home and auto insurance products through independent insurance agencies.
