Position Overview – Remote Long‑Term Guest Art Teacher

The Remote Long‑Term Guest Art Teacher role is a unique, high‑visibility teaching assignment designed for qualified educators who can deliver engaging, standards‑aligned art instruction over a sustained period (minimum 20 consecutive days). This position offers the flexibility of working from a home office while maintaining strong connections with students, parents, and district staff through virtual platforms and occasional onsite visits (as needed). You will be entrusted with full responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing art lessons that inspire creativity, develop technical skills, and integrate interdisciplinary connections across the K‑12 curriculum.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day
• Curriculum Design & Delivery: Develop and implement comprehensive art lesson plans that align with Colorado Academic Standards, district objectives, and the specific needs of each grade level.
• Student Engagement: Create a dynamic, inclusive virtual classroom environment that encourages exploration, critical thinking, and self‑expression.
• Assessment & Feedback: Design formative and summative assessments, provide timely, constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Technology Integration: Leverage digital tools (e.g., virtual sketchpads, video tutorials, online galleries) to enhance learning experiences and accommodate remote delivery.
• Collaboration: Partner with classroom teachers, special‑education staff, and administrators to integrate art across subjects and support interdisciplinary projects.

Essential Qualifications – What We Require
