Provide high-quality technical assistance to country and regional offices on recovery and transition planning
Develop and implement strategies for transitioning from humanitarian to recovery and development programming
Advise on best practices for integrating recovery principles into planning and implementation
Coordinate with UNICEF sections and external partners to ensure a holistic approach to programming
Conduct post-disaster needs assessments and provide capacity-building support to national authoritiesWhat is Required (Qualifications):
Advanced university degree in social sciences, international relations, political science, or related field
Minimum of ten years of professional experience in international development, with specific experience in fragile environments
Broad multisectoral knowledge and field experience in development and humanitarian action
Proven experience in transitioning from humanitarian to recovery and development programming
Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language is an assetHow to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience conducting multistakeholder post-crisis recovery assessments
Strong leadership and management skills in multicultural environments
Excellent communication and advocacy skills
