The Logistics Account Manager will build strong relationships with customers, manage expectations, and ensure exceptional customer service while collaborating with internal teams to deliver optimal transportation solutions.ResponsibilitiesBuild strong relationships with customers by staying in constant communication to ensure day to day and long-term needs are metManage customer expectations and provide exceptional customer serviceWork with Implementation team on successful opportunities to ensure accuracy in our pricing programParticipate in rate matrix reviews to ensure profitability and competitiveness for key accountsParticipate in rate calculations, report preparation and customer presentations for all large-spend bidsEnsure customer commitments are met, working with internal teams and executing operational tasks as neededIdentify, manage and build new business relationship in the target marketCollaborate and provide assistance to Customer Service Manager in delivering optimal transportation service solutionsMaintain a database of clients, prospects, partners and vendorsMonitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and salesPerform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reportsConsult with clients to resolve problems and to provide ongoing supportCoordinate prospect, sales and current customer meetings working closely with VP of Sales/CSSkillsRecent college or university degree in Sales & Marketing or Business-related field is requiredExceptional customer service skills, embraces the concept of both the internal and external customerExcellent communication, analytical and organizational skillsAbility to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment1-2 years of account management experience in transportation and logistics field would be an asset3+ years of sales and account management experience in transportation and logistics field is preferredBenefitsCompetitive SalaryHealthcare Benefit PackageCareer GrowthCompany OverviewCharger Logistics' strives to offer the best client focused logistics solution.
