They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Linux System Administrator to manage, maintain, and secure a large-scale enterprise-level infrastructure for a critical government computer system.ResponsibilitiesAdminister, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers in both physical and virtual environmentsManage the VMware vSphere infrastructure, including the deployment, and troubleshooting of virtual machines and hostsUtilize BMC TrueSight Server Automation (TSSA) to perform automated patching, ensure system compliance, and report on security configurations against government baselines (e.g., DISA STIGs)Develop, maintain, and execute Ansible playbooks to automate system configurations, application deployments, and other repetitive administrative tasksImplement and maintain robust security controls, conduct vulnerability remediation, and ensure all systems are compliant with federal security standardsMonitor system performance, troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, and perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrencesCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and proceduresParticipate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical system issuesSkillsClearance: Secret or higher required5+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator, with deep knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) in an enterprise settingStrong proficiency in VMware vSphere (ESXi/vCenter) for creating, managing, and troubleshooting virtualized server environmentsDemonstrated experience writing and maintaining complex Ansible playbooks for configuration management and infrastructure automationProven experience with system hardening, security patching, and ensuring compliance with security frameworks such as DISA STIGsHigh proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python to automate administrative tasks and streamline operationsHave a current CompTIA Security+Direct hands-on experience using BMC TrueSight Server Automation for automated patch management and compliance enforcementRelevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or VMware Certified Professional (VCP)Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes, and their integration into enterprise workflowsBenefitsHealth, dental, vision, and life insuranceA 401(k) with company matchingPaid time off and holidaysAn employee referral programEducational assistanceCompany OverviewIn October 2021, OneZero Solutions, LCC (OneZero), a leading federal cybersecurity and IT solutions provider, announced its acquisition of Right-Sized Solutions Inc.
