[Remote] Events Specialist - Event Production

The Events Specialist will help facilitate events by collaborating with Event Managers, supporting local markets, and ensuring successful event execution.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Event Managers to ensure events are executed in conjunction with current year’s business plan and budgetSupport managers in providing leadership to local markets for each event to ensure that staffs are fully supported to accomplish tasks required for successful eventsWork with Ventures Events team to collaborate with local marketsAssist with implementation of event objectivesFollow event timelinesExcellent communication skills with venuesWork with Event Managers and Graphic Designer to create event materialsCoordinate with Event Specialist on ordering event materialsCoordinate and help manage event set-up and executionWork with Graphic Designer to create promotional materials for eventsDevelop systems and processes to ensure consistent, efficient and effective communicationAssist Event Managers in tracking and reporting event data in a timely mannerAssist Event Managers in creating event presentations and other materials as neededFacilitate event set-up and execution at least 10 X per yearOversee Sponsorship assetsSkills1 + year(s) of experience in event industry or event internship experienceBachelor's Degree in marketing, public relations or relatedStrong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritizeProficiency in MS OfficeExcellent time management skillsStrong understanding of marketing principles and advertising strategyStrong business expertise, with a high bar set on qualityAble to think both strategically and operationallyCompany OverviewLocaliQ is a marketing platform that helps businesses find and convert with a suite of marketing automation and insight tools.
