Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Life Changing Solutions, LLC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate expertise in various therapeutic modalities. This role involves providing comprehensive clinical services to individuals, families, and groups, with a focus on promoting emotional well-being and facilitating positive change. The LCSW will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care in both clinical and community settings. Responsibilities • Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine individual needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. • Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing. • Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress or emergency situations. • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations. • Engage in case management activities to coordinate care and resources for clients, including referrals to external services as needed. • Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on behavioral health, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and other relevant topics. • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care across various settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and community organizations. • Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving treatment outcomes and advancing knowledge in social work practices. • Stay informed about current trends in social work, mental health counseling, and related fields through continuous professional development. Requirements • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution; current LCSW licensure is required. • Proven experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, or behavioral therapy with a focus on children and families is preferred. • Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient medical documentation and data collection. • Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, and experience with medical records management. • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders is a plus. • Strong understanding of crisis management techniques and the ability to provide effective crisis intervention. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. • Commitment to ethical practice standards as outlined by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
