The role involves program leadership, process optimization, and collaboration with various teams to enhance contracting efficiency.ResponsibilitiesLead the transformation of legacy Word-based contract templates into structured clause libraries within IcertisDesign, standardize, and govern clause libraries, fallback language, and template structures to support automated contract generationCollaborate with CLM and CIO teams to configure and enable document generation within IcertisPartner with Offering Managers to develop and maintain offering-aligned contract templatesWork with the CLM team to define and govern metadata standards and taxonomies to enable reporting, compliance, and automationAct as the Legal Department’s focal point for the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of Kyndryl’s contracting frameworkEnhance the legal intake and workflow management system (Checkbox) for commercial requestsDrive integration between Checkbox, Icertis, and upstream GTM/sales systemsUse data insights, metrics, and user feedback to continuously improve workflow efficiency and user experienceLead initiatives to improve contract negotiation efficiency, consistency, and cycle timeEvaluate and support adoption of AI-enabled contract review and redlining toolsMonitor adoption, compliance, and performance of contracting frameworks and toolsPartner across Legal, GTM, Finance, and Operations to drive alignment on commercial execution strategiesCreate and maintain centralized knowledge resources to support Legal and business usersSkills4+ years of experience in legal operations, contract operations, legal technology, or technical program management, working in-house or with a law firm2+ years of experience with CLM platforms (Icertis strongly preferred)Strong understanding of contract structures, clause libraries, and risk allocation frameworksExperience translating legal concepts into scalable processes, templates, or systemsDemonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a global, matrixed environmentExperience designing or implementing CLM transformations or contracting programsFamiliarity with enterprise technology services, outsourcing, or managed services contractingUnderstanding of data models, metadata design, or system configuration concepts (no coding required)Strong analytical mindset with comfort using contract data to drive decision-makingExperience partnering with Offering, GTM, or commercial organizationsBenefitsThis position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans.You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave and paid time off.Note: if this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.Our employee learning programs give you access to the best learning in the industry to receive certifications, including Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Skillsoft, and many more.Through our company-wide volunteering and giving platform, you can donate, start fundraisers, volunteer, and search over 2 million non-profit organizations.Company OverviewKyndryl is an information technology and services company.
