[Remote] Legal Collections Associate

They are seeking a Legal Collections Associate to act as a liaison with debt collection agencies, manage delinquent accounts, and support recovery efforts through effective communication and data analysis. Responsibilities Act as a liaison between our company and external debt collection agencies Collaborate with partner agencies to strategize and execute collection efforts on delinquent accounts Provide timely support and guidance to external partners to optimize recovery performance Communicate regularly via phone and email with agency representatives to resolve issues and coordinate case actions Directly engage with delinquent clients via phone and email to collect on past-due debts when necessary Negotiate payment arrangements and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations during client interactions Analyze collection data using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools to identify trends and opportunities for improvement Prepare reports and summaries for internal stakeholders regarding collection progress and performance metrics Skills Substantial experience in debt collections or a related field Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications; ability to analyze and interpret data effectively Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to build and maintain professional relationships with external partners and clients Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Familiarity with legal collections processes and terminology Experience working with third-party collection agencies Knowledge of compliance standards in debt collection Benefits Excellent benefits Company Overview IWG: the world’s leading platform for work, revolutionising how and where people work IWG (International Workplace Group) is the global leader in hybrid and platform working.
