[Remote] Legal Assistant, Litigation (Part Time)

They are seeking a part-time Legal Assistant to join the Litigation Team, responsible for managing subpoenas and supporting in-house attorneys with litigation matters.ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage third-party subpoenas and requests for records from state/government agencies, and other requestors to securely provide sensitive data and responsive documents, in accordance with applicable state laws and company policiesProvide comprehensive support to in-house attorneys in managing cases related to No Surprise Bill Act (NSA) and SIU investigations along with other administrative proceedingsFacilitate the discovery process by issuing legal holds, coordinating document and data collections, track key deadlines, deliverables, and action items ensuring timely complianceLead or contribute to special legal projects and initiatives as assignedAssist with intake process of litigation matters and other administrative functionsCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to gather facts, documents, and other case-related materials to support legal strategySkills2+ years of legal experience2+ years of research experienceDemonstrate analytical ability, good communication skills and judgment along with great organizational skills in managing litigation mattersKnowledge of Health Care benefitsKnowledge of state and federal court systemsParalegal certificate or equivalent experience preferredBenefitsThis position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.This part‑time position is eligible for a range of benefits and programs that support the physical, emotional, and financial well‑being of colleagues.Depending on hours worked and eligibility, the benefits for this position include dental, vision, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs.Company OverviewCVS Health is a health solutions company that provides an integrated healthcare services to its members.
