The Learning Pathways and Competency Frameworks Consultant will design and implement learning pathways and competency models to enhance employee engagement and professional development within the organization.ResponsibilitiesConduct stakeholder interviews to identify and prioritize roles that would benefit most from career and learning path developmentReview and analyze existing training programs, job descriptions, and job architecture materials to determine their relevance and applicability to career and learning pathing initiativesDesign and develop customized career pathways and progression routes for prioritized rolesIdentify associated learning opportunities and training requirements that support career progressionCreate and implement assessments to evaluate employee skills and readiness for career mobilityValidate career and learning pathways with subject matter experts (SMEs) and key stakeholdersDevelop customized competency frameworks for designated organizational disciplines and clinical/professional areasConduct SME interviews and review relevant materials to identify required skills, behaviors, expertise expectations, and development milestonesDesign self-assessment and peer assessment tools aligned with competency frameworksValidate competency frameworks through collaboration with SMEs and key stakeholdersSupport the design and development of micro-learning-style training modules related to competencies and skills, as neededSkillsStrong active listening skills and empathy with the ability to understand organizational context, operational nuances, constraints, and strategic needsAbility to facilitate decision-making among diverse stakeholders in complex and ambiguous environmentsStrong attention to detail with experience developing tailored solutions based on systematic analysisAdaptability and resilience in dynamic environments with evolving prioritiesResults-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting deliverables and deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and storytelling capabilitiesExperience building trust and collaboration with senior leaders and frontline staffExperience in career development, talent management, or organizational developmentExperience creating and/or refining career paths, competency models, and learning pathwaysExperience identifying and developing talent pipelinesExperience with rapid and iterative content developmentExperience developing assessments, skills gap analyses, self-assessments, and peer review instrumentsAbility to interpret and visualize data, generate actionable insights, and develop client-facing reports and presentationsStrong knowledge of career pathing frameworks and leading practicesStrong knowledge of job architecture and organizational designProficiency with Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and ExcelKnowledge of adult learning principles and instructional designBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development, Leadership, Learning and Development, Instructional Design, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related fieldExperience working with senior leaders or in a corporate environmentExperience engaging executive-level stakeholders and tailoring approaches to diverse audiencesDirect experience or substantial familiarity with healthcare, hospital, or clinical workforce environmentsExperience with learning management systems and virtual training technologies, including e-learning toolsAdvanced degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., ATD, SHRM, HRCI, instructional design)BenefitsRemote with less than 25% travel to Chicago, IL.Incurred travel expenses will be reimbursable.Company OverviewDTI is a 100% African American-owned IT consulting and network services firm with nearly 40 years of experience.
