[Remote] Lean/Continuous Improvement Consulting Project Manager

Connors Group is a consulting firm looking for a Lean/Continuous Improvement Consulting Project Manager to lead various projects across the US and internationally. The role involves project management, client relationship management, and business development to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.ResponsibilitiesServes as Project Manager for multiple projects - responsible for daily leadership, project management and expertise on project teams, including time and motion studies, work measurement, cost-benefit analysis, and process re-engineering activitiesComplete understanding of a project’s deliverables and statement of work. Responsible for articulating those details to the project team to our client’s satisfaction and metrics, on time and within budgetManages relationships with clients and internal stakeholdersPresentation of deliverables to client and providing change management expertise in implementation of solutionProvides supporting Account Management with existing clients through identification of additional business opportunities and develop project proposals and presentations as requestedDevelops and manages project budget and project deadlines; identifies and mitigates engagement risksAbility to quickly understand several client industries, environments, and ability to create strategies and implementation plans that align with client and project goalsReviews and approves all travel expenses, travel coordination, and project reviewsCoaches and develop project team by providing proper support and direction, from both project and career perspective; ability to provide and engage in feedback, performance, and personal development conversationsResponsible for self-time management, progress reporting of tasks to direct project lead and to stay productive whether onsite with a team, by yourself or working remotelyConducts time and motion studies and work measurement tasks for development of engineered labor standards, cost-benefit analysis, and process re-engineering activitiesPerforms research into new technologies that provide efficiency gains for our clients’ businessesActively participate in trade shows, networking and recruiting opportunitiesTravels extensively (50-75%), and sometimes independently, throughout the US and InternationallySkillsBachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent7+ years' experience in a consulting role using Industrial Engineering principles, having led and managed client engagements across multiple industriesStrong communication and presentation skills; ability to drive deadlines on multiple projectsStrong understanding of project budgets, travel expense policy, travel coordinationKnowledge of change management principles, ability to create influence in implementing recommended solutionsKnowledge of and experience in implementing end-to-end project solutions, including industry and customer research, creating strategy and project vision, design and development of solution meeting SOW, and associated change management practicesDemonstrated leadership – with internal teams and clients, maintaining a positive attitudeDemonstrated ability to assess and solve problemsAbility to understand and create budgetsKnowledge of Connors Group performance management program, understanding of core competenciesStrong work ethic and capability to work independentlyExcellent knowledge of MS Office including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookMastery of core IE principles, including Labor Standards, MOST, time studiesAccess to reliable auto transportation and a major US airportCompany OverviewConnors Group is a global retail management consulting firm with deep experience across all retail verticals including grocery.
