The Lead Recruiter will play a crucial role in hiring talent for key HQ functions, providing strategic consulting to senior leaders and driving consistency across the senior-level recruiting process.ResponsibilitiesServe as a strategic talent advisor to senior HQ leaders, shaping role design, hiring strategy, and decision criteriaLead senior role recruiting governance, including strategic intake, competency‑based interview design, panel preparation, and debrief facilitationDevelop and implement enterprise‑impact hiring strategies using labor‑market analytics, competitive intelligence, and TA dashboard insightsAct as a peer leader to Recruiters and TA Analyst, providing coaching, process guidance, and prioritization support to ensure operational excellenceIn partnership with HRBPs, influence workforce planning, talent requirements, and compensation alignment using market data and internal benchmarksDrive consistency across the hiring lifecycle through standardized practices, including curated candidate slates, structured interviews, scorecards, and SLAsMonitor funnel health through daily dashboard insights; identify bottlenecks, risks, and trends and implement acceleration or remediation plansLead high‑visibility recruiting projects, process improvement initiatives, and TA framework enhancements (e.g., competency models, intake templates, interview calibration)Partner with leaders to ensure accountability for feedback timeliness, hiring readiness, and high‑quality, equitable candidate experienceBuild high‑quality, diverse pipelines for senior‑level and complex roles using targeted sourcing strategiesEnsure all recruitment activity aligns with compliance, audit, and documentation standards, including OFCCP requirementsSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including senior-level or corporate HQ rolesProven ability to influence Director/VP-level stakeholders and challenge assumptions constructivelyExperience designing structured interview strategies, assessments, and selection frameworksDemonstrated experience operating in an OFCCP-compliant environmentStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate labor-market insights, funnel metrics, and dashboard data to inform decisionsExceptional consulting, communication, and relationship-building skillsStrong business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to operate autonomously in a high-visibility, high-impact environmentDemonstrated ability to lead process alignment and drive adoption of TA standardsExperience supporting HQ corporate functions such as HR, Legal, Finance, Communications, IT, etcBackground creating or improving TA processes, tools, or enterprise standardsExperience with talent intelligence platforms (e.g., TalentNeuron), ATS/CRM systems (BrassRing, Phenom), or analytics dashboardsExperience recruiting in complex, matrixed, or highly regulated environmentsBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings accountsA 401(k) savings planDisability coverageLife and accident insuranceEmployee assistance programA legal planDiscounts on things like home, auto, and pet insurancePaid time offPaid holidaysPaid parental leavePaid military leavePaid bereavement leaveAny applicable federal and state sick leaveCompany recognition program to receive monetary or non-monetary recognition awardsOther incentives may be available based on position level and/or job specificsTemporary employees can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings planTemporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefitsTemporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for the employee assistance programTemporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for business travel accident insuranceCompany OverviewBAE Systems is an aerospace, defence, and information security company that provides advanced and technology-led solutions.
