[Remote] Lead Product Designer

They are seeking a Lead Product Designer to own the design process from wireframes to final delivery, collaborating directly with product managers and engineers to shape the product experience.ResponsibilitiesUse AI-based design tools daily to accelerate ideation, wireframing, and prototypingStay ahead of emerging AI tools and actively bring them into the workflowPush the boundaries of what’s possible by using AI to move faster and design smarterLead end-to-end design for key product features, from concept to deliveryCreate wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes in FigmaDeliver designs that are intuitive, visually polished, and ready for engineering handoffMaintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across all product areasDocument components and patterns clearly so engineers can build with confidenceIdentify gaps in the system and proactively close themConduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to inform design decisionsAnalyze user behavior using analytics tools to surface UX improvement opportunitiesTranslate research into actionable design improvementsPartner closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the build processPresent design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholdersCommunicate proactively, flag blockers early, and stay aligned without needing to be managedSkillsExperience in product or UX/UI design, ideally within a SaaS environmentStrong, active working knowledge of AI design tools (Figma AI, Galileo, Claude, or similar). This is a must, not a bonusStrong Figma skills with a portfolio that shows real problem-solving, not just pretty screensSolid grasp of user research methods including interviews, surveys, and usability testingExperience maintaining or contributing to a design systemEnergized by startup pace.
