[Remote] Key Account Manager, GI (Ottawa Region)

The KAM will act as the liaison between Takeda and treatment centers, focusing on maximizing patient outcomes and driving product utilization through strategic account management.ResponsibilitiesDeliver agreed strategy and all necessary tactics within the key accounts to drive Takeda performance, including and not limited to delivering product and therapeutic knowledge, detailing to prescribers and key stakeholdersMaintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant therapies and competitive products (data, studies, outcomes, and current promotional messaging)Provide compliant evidence-based science and disease state knowledge of Takeda therapies to all key stakeholdersDevelop and execute strategic and tactical account planning, such as uncovering needs, stakeholder / influence mapping, identifying / prioritizing business goals, helping define value propositions, delivering value propositions developed in collaboration with Head Office and field cross-functional teams, developing tactical plans, etcConduct account management at all IBD centers and gastroenterologists within the assigned territory, foster confidence in Takedaâs holistic approach to engagement, and assist with on-going service and support as neededDeliver approved messages encompassing compliant accurate clinical, financial, outcomes, and operational issues. Strategically manages assigned accounts, budget and allocated resources yielding maximum effectiveness and impactAchieves sales goals and objectives by delivering Business Objectives as well as other key metrics in the assigned TerritoryDevelop cross functional account plansDevelop and regularly evaluate account business plans to ensure they continue to meet strategic business objectives and align with emerging trends and changes within key customer segments or accounts. Prepare and present account business plans to management as requiredConsistently seek new opportunities to drive results that meet unique needs of territory key accounts, ensuring Takeda is trusted partner of choiceTrack and communicate KPIs and performance metrics as defined in the account planLeverage CRM systems to prioritize call objectives based on customer segmentation, strategies/ tactics, realistic milestones, and previous interactions with customersDevelop a detailed territory action plan that include budget requirements.
