Youth Sports Travel Sales (Remote)
Remote / Part-Time Position We are currently seeking to hire a Youth Sports Travel Sales Rep to join our team! You will be responsible for recruiting youth sports teams for our international 10-day sports tours. The target athletes will range from 11-21 years old and play baseball, basketball, soccer, or volleyball. Tour countries include Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Guatemala, India & Vietnam. Athletes are welcome from schools, clubs, travel & AAU teams. Sample Tours: Responsibilities: • Identify potential clients including coaches and team owners • Conduct presentations with coaches, team owners, players and parents • Communicate details of the tours: destinations, accommodations, and itineraries • Attend tournaments and trade shows to sell the tours • Work directly with our founder to close sales Qualifications: • Current / previous experience in sports as a coach, player or admin • Experience in sales including prospecting and closing • International travel experience a plus • Ability to build rapport with clients Pay & Benefits: • The job is commission-based to start. You receive 25% of the $2,000+ program fee paid by each athlete to EWE Tours. • The size of the groups ranges from 10-20 athletes (2 coaches / chaperones go free). • You have the option to travel with us on the tours (we pay for your flights, hotel & meals) About EWE Tours Established in 2001, EWE Tours is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit based in Philadelphia. We lead students on educational, cultural and sports tours to Africa, Asia and Latin America. Our tours immerse students in non-western cultures and inspire them to learn and grow. Founder/Director Scott Burke is an alum of the William Penn Charter School and Franklin & Marshall College.
