[Remote] Junior Tax Accountant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Business Financial Group (BFG) is a family-owned and operated professional accounting and Payroll Company based in Atlanta, GA, USA. They are seeking a Junior Tax Accountant to assist in preparing and submitting tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and offering expert advice on tax-related matters.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Work with the Team Coordinator on project management and delivery
ā¢ Prepare Monthly/ Quarterly Profit and Loss accounts and Balance sheets
ā¢ Bank and Credit Card Account Reconciliation
ā¢ Manage and reconcile Balance Sheet Items
ā¢ Prepare Quarterly Individual and Business Tax Planning (We will train you on this)
ā¢ Prepare annual financial statements and coordinate with the Tax Manager for the annual Business Tax return preparation
ā¢ Prepare U.S Business and Personal Tax Returns (We will train you on this)
ā¢ Monthly/ Quarterly Sales Tax Preparation and Submission
ā¢ Prepare Yearly Business Property Tax Returns preparation
ā¢ Payroll Processing, Quarterly, and Annual Payroll Tax Return Preparation and Submission
Skills
ā¢ CA Inter passed with Articleship emphasizing Accounting and Taxation
ā¢ Experience working with an accounting software package. (Tally, QuickBooks, Xero etc:)
ā¢ Strong General Ledger work experience and knowledge
ā¢ Good aptitude for Individual and Business Tax Preparation, Tax Planning, and Tax Research
ā¢ Excellent written and verbal knowledge in English
ā¢ Active listening
ā¢ Team Communication
ā¢ Adaptability
ā¢ Project and Task Management
ā¢ Google Workspace (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
