[Remote] Junior Data Science Associate Consultant - United States

The Junior Data Science Associate Consultant will support the development and testing of analytical models, apply various statistical methods, and collaborate with senior consultants to prepare reports and dashboards. Responsibilities • Support the development and testing of analytical and statistical models under senior guidance. • Apply hypothesis testing, regression, and simple machine learning methods to solve structured data problems. • Clean, transform, and visualize datasets using Python and basic BI tools. • Assist in feature engineering, model validation, and documentation of analytical workflows. • Collaborate with senior consultants to prepare reports and dashboards for client presentations. • Explore and document emerging data sources and technologies relevant to ongoing projects. Skills • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field. • 1–2 years of experience in data analytics or applied statistics. • Proficiency in Python or R for data processing and visualization. • Understanding of machine learning fundamentals, data wrangling, and exploratory analysis. • Familiarity with SQL and basic data pipelines. • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS or Azure) and Git version control. • Strong analytical thinking and eagerness to learn from senior mentors. • Experience fine-tuning generative models and integrating classic AI techniques. • Prior leadership experience and a record of mentoring junior colleagues. • Domain expertise in healthcare, transportation, technology, insurance, or related sectors.
