They are seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer to assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and reliable.ResponsibilitiesAssist with provisioning and managing Azure resources such as virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking componentsSupport the deployment and setup of cloud-based applications and servicesMonitor system performance and availability using Azure tools, proactively identifying issuesTroubleshoot infrastructure and application problems, escalating complex cases when necessaryParticipate in implementing security best practices, including access controls and governance standardsHelp automate tasks with scripting tools like PowerShell and Azure CLISupport CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes alongside development teamsMaintain documentation for cloud environments, configurations, and proceduresCollaborate with internal teams to ensure cloud service stability, reliability, and performanceContinuously explore and evaluate new Azure services and features to enhance operationsSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)1–3 years of experience in IT, cloud, or infrastructure rolesBasic understanding of Microsoft Azure services (compute, storage, and networking)Familiarity with cloud concepts such as virtualization, scalability, and high availabilityExposure to scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell or PythonUnderstanding of basic networking concepts (DNS, VPNs, and load balancing)Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks effectivelyStrong communication skills and a willingness to learnCompany OverviewAt First Watch, you’re the reason we wake up at the crack of dawn, ready to make your day that much brighter.
