[Remote] Junior Analytics Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mayne Pharma is seeking a Junior Analytics Engineer to join their Sales Operations & Analytics team within Commercial Operations. In this role, you will help build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers business decisions across the organization, focusing on data transformation and reporting in Power BI.ResponsibilitiesWrite and maintain SQL views and transformations to move data through our medallion architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold) within Microsoft FabricBuild and maintain Power Query (M) dataflows for ingesting and transforming data from internal and third-party sourcesSupport the development of Power BI semantic models, including writing DAX measures for sales performance, territory analytics, and prescriber-level reportingAssist with incentive compensation data processing for approximately 150 sales representativesHelp maintain dimensional models with proper surrogate keys, fact/dimension relationships, and business logicDocument data models, transformation logic, and business rules to support team knowledge sharingContribute to data quality monitoring, validation, and issue resolutionSupport version-controlled development workflows using Git and PBIP formatSkills1–3 years of experience in a data-focused role (analyst, data engineer, BI developer, or similar)Strong SQL proficiency — you should be comfortable writing queries, joins, aggregations, and window functionsCuriosity and willingness to learn new tools and frameworks quicklyStrong communication skills — ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAttention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solvingExperience with Power Query (M) for data transformationFamiliarity with Power BI and DAX or equivalent BI ToolsExposure to dimensional modeling concepts (star schema, fact and dimension tables)Experience with Microsoft Fabric or other cloud data platformsFamiliarity with Git or other version control systemsPharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare industry experienceMicrosoft certifications such as DP-600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate), PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst), or DP-900 (Azure Data Fundamentals)Company OverviewMayne Pharma Group, a specialist pharmaceutical company, optimizes and delivers oral drugs.
