[Remote] IT Systems Analyst IV (IT Workday Grants & Customer Accounts/Contracts Support Analyst)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The University of Louisville is seeking an IT Systems Analyst IV to support Workday Grants & Customer Accounts/Contracts solutions. This role involves analyzing, designing, testing, and maintaining systems while collaborating with stakeholders to optimize business processes and provide advanced data analysis.ResponsibilitiesProvide design, configuration, and troubleshooting services (functional and technical) for Workday Grants & Customer Accounts/Contracts solutionProvide troubleshooting support for functional and technical production issues, unexpected results and process flaws including coordinating with Workday using their case management systemCollaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to optimize business processes (including Workflow/security)Collaborate with functional stakeholders to build reporting (basic and advance calc fields/all reporting types)Assist in researching new capabilities within WorkdaySupport regression testing and introduction of required changes as new Workday releases are introducedAssist in the design and configuration of new Workday enhancements as they are made available with each new releaseDevelop the expertise in the departmental use of Workday Grants & Customer Accounts/Contracts and serve as the point of contact for end users on proposed process and application changesConsult with customers to conduct analysis on Grants & Customer Accounts/Contracts business processes to help identify needs and facilitate finding solutions to those needsProactively identify customer strength and weaknesses and suggest areas of business process improvementPropose solutions to Grants & Customer Accounts/Contracts problems and consider timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing customer needsIdentify potential process improvements through data analysis that identifies inefficiencies, redundancy, and unleveraged system functionalityCoordinate the testing of maintenance and new functionality with business unitsPrepare detailed systems documentationCollaborate with business intelligence staff to ensure that reporting needs are included in system design and assist with the development and review of new reports and dashboardsContinuously increases technical and industry trend knowledge by participating in Workday Community and other forums, including on-line discussions, brainstorms, voting, training, webinars, etcOther duties as requiredSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and six (6) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience with Workday Grants & Customer Accounts/Contracts functionalityCompany OverviewThe University of Louisville is a state supported research university located in Kentucky's largest metropolitan area.
