They are seeking an intern for the Tech and Product team of TikTok USDS to empower users with strong data security and privacy protections while gaining hands-on experience in developing machine learning models and tools. Responsibilities Build ML models (clustering, graph mining, sequence, LLM) and data mining tools, analyzing user behaviors and attack patterns for risk control detection and mitigation Or build recall models for users in support of our recommendations systems to ensure better user experience across devices Skills Currently pursuing a Undergraduate/Master in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Economics, Statistics, or a related technical discipline Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026 Experience writing code in Java, Go, Python or a similar language Graduating December 2026 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after completion of the internships Benefits Health insurance Life insurance Wellbeing benefits 10 paid holidays per year Paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year) Housing allowance Company Overview TikTok is a short-form video entertainment app and social network platform.
