The Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst III is responsible for collaborating with management to address system needs and enhance revenue cycle processes, while also providing technical support and ensuring effective communication within the team.ResponsibilitiesCollaborating independently with system management to identify, analyze, prioritize and resolve system needsUsing cases, workflows and metrics to configure, maintain and monitor systems, along with providing suggestions for potential application modifications, enhancements or process changesDeveloping functional specifications and operational process flows, department procedures, business requirements or other necessary documentation for approved system enhancements or modificationsDemonstrating strong knowledge of IS internal department processes as well as software application supportDemonstrating comprehensive knowledge of computer systems, applications and interfacesDemonstrating proficiency in all skills required to facilitate complex applications and system enhancements or replacementsDemonstrating advanced proficiency in creating detailed documentation, including system design documentation, procedures, process and data flowsDemonstrating an advanced understanding of revenue cycle operationsDemonstrating attention to detail in data gathering, specifications development and documentation and recordingProducing and providing analysis through reports, dashboards and analytic tools to managementDeveloping Metrics and KPI's designed to monitor the performance of management and staff in Management OR Equivalent combination of education and experience5 years experience in healthcare related setting with knowledge of Patient Access / Revenue Cycle / Business systemsUnderstanding of information system technology and database applications is necessaryComplete education and pass certification in assigned EPIC application module(s) within 120 days of completed educationDemonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to support for systems/ applications to which assigned (i.e. Registration, Billing, Coding, Scheduling, Charge Master, and Revenue Integrity as applicable)Develop
