[Remote] IT Client Support Technician - California

In this role, you will be responsible for managing hardware, improving client experience, and establishing relationships with client IT staff while supporting employees with various devices and applications. Responsibilities • Managing hardware deployed at client locations: payment terminals, routers, servers, network devices, kiosks, etc • Improving the client experience with Grant Street Group products. This includes network optimization guidance, browser, and other technology assistance • Establishing relationships with the client’s IT staff to consult on hardware, software, and security • Supporting our employees with laptops, tablets, smartphones, printers, and applications • Supporting our annual client conferences • Working closely with our product owners, business analysts, and system administrators Skills • 2+ years of professional IT experience • Highly organized • Self-starter • Detailed and customer-focused • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Understanding of macOS and Windows operating systems • Experience troubleshooting Windows applications and operating system • Knowledge of workstation hardware and software • Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, and wireless technologies • General comprehension of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP • Experience with payment terminals (Ingenico/Verifone) • Experience with OpenVPN • Experience with Juniper SRX firewalls • Experience with G-Suite • Experience with Linux • Experience with Salesforce • Experience with JIRA/Confluence • Experience with Office 365 • Experience with Virtualization Company Overview • Software that Works to Help Government Work Better.
