Job DescriptionAccount Manager - RemoteThis is an exempt level position.Position Summary: The Nutrition Division of Archer Daniels Midland Co. is actively seeking an initiative-taking and experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven record in sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of customer relationship management.Individual will be responsible for selling dairy flavors, processed cheese and custom cheese sauce to food manufacturers. Additional responsibilities include identifying opportunities for food flavorings, specialty ingredients, and complete formula solutions from the ADM Nutrition portfolio to customers. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, opening new markets, managing key accounts, processing pricing requests and developing long-term relationships.Job Responsibilities:Account Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.Monitor customer satisfaction and work to resolve any issues that arise.Sales Strategy and Execution:Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.Identify new business opportunities and potential clients.Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.Revenue Growth:Drive revenue growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.Negotiate marketing programs and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales quotasProduct Knowledge:Serve as the primary point of contact for product knowledge, manufacturing process, and application of product line.Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales strategies and product offeringsTeam Collaboration:Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless customer experienceReporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and account informationPrepare regular reports on sales performance, account status, and market trends for senior managementDemonstrate strong organization, time management and communication skillsRequired Skills:Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to build and maintain long-term relationships with clientsProficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel up to 50% as neededEducation Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Culinary ArtsRequired Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer-facing activity with focus on account and business opportunity managementExperience in flavors, processed cheese or ingredient salesProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsDesired Experience:Culinary arts experience as a Chef or food science and development positionAdvanced degree or relevant certifications.Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, SAPBefore applying for an exempt, non-exempt or hourly job opportunity, you are expected to initiate a discussion and share your intentions with your supervisor. * If youâve been in your current position for more than 18 months, supervisor approval is not required. * If youâve been in your current position for less than 18 months, verbal supervisor approval is required. âHiring Manager- Russell March âRecruiter- John Wagner CityNew Berlin StateWI - Wisconsin Location CountryUnited States About ADM At ADM, we unlock the power of nature to provide access to nutrition worldwide. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. If hired, employees will be in an âat-will positionâ and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. The pay range for this position is expected to be between:$78,000.00 - $145,700.00Salaried Incentive PlanThe total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus and commissions
