They are seeking an Investor to help establish their sourcing, research, diligence, and investment processes while identifying exceptional founders and opportunities worldwide.ResponsibilitiesBuild relationships with founders, operators, investors, accelerators, and startup communities globallySource high-quality startup investment opportunitiesDevelop and manage outbound sourcing strategiesRepresent 16VC within startup ecosystems and industry eventsResearch emerging industries, technology trends, and investment opportunitiesDevelop investment theses across priority sectorsEvaluate startups, founders, products, markets, and business modelsConduct market mapping and competitive analysisPrepare investment memos and recommendationsHelp establish and refine 16VC's investment processesBuild sourcing, diligence, and pipeline management frameworksContribute to fellowship and founder engagement initiativesWork closely with the leadership team to shape the firm's long-term investment strategySkills2+ years of venture capital experienceExperience working with an institutional VC fund, accelerator, family office, angel network, or investment platformStrong understanding of startup ecosystems and venture investingExcellent research, analytical, and writing skillsStrong network-building and relationship-management abilitiesAbility to operate independently in a fast-moving environmentCompany Overview16vc backs early-stage startups with $100K-$250K at Pre-Seed and Seed stages.
