Jr. Tax Accountant

This is a remote position. Location: Remote Job in Kochi and surrounding areas. We currently have an opening for a full-time Junior Tax accountant. Job Summary: We seek a Tax Accountant with completed CA Articles to join our tax team. The successful candidate will assist in preparing and submitting tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and offering expert advice on tax-related matters. Qualifications: CA Inter passed with Articleship emphasizing Accounting and Taxation. Experience working with an accounting software package. (Tally, QuickBooks, Xero etc:) Strong General Ledger work experience and knowledge. Good aptitude for Individual and Business Tax Preparation, Tax Planning, and Tax Research. Job Responsibilities: Work with the Team Coordinator on project management and delivery. Prepare Monthly/ Quarterly Profit and Loss accounts and Balance sheets. Bank and Credit Card Account Reconciliation. Manage and reconcile Balance Sheet Items. Prepare Quarterly Individual and Business Tax Planning (We will train you on this) Prepare annual financial statements and coordinate with the Tax Manager for the annual Business Tax return preparation. Prepare U.S Business and Personal Tax Returns (We will train you on this) Monthly/ Quarterly Sales Tax Preparation and Submission Prepare Yearly Business Property Tax Returns preparation. Payroll Processing, Quarterly, and Annual Payroll Tax Return Preparation and Submission. Requirements Excellent written and verbal knowledge in English. Active listening. Team Communication Adaptability. Project and Task Management. Google Workspace (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.) Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM (IST) (One hour break from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM IST). Home Office Requirements To ensure productivity and uninterrupted work, candidates must have: A dedicated, quiet, and distraction-free workspace A laptop with dual monitors High-speed internet with minimum speeds of: 150 Mbps download 9 Mbps upload (Test your speed at www.speedtest.net ) Backup internet solution (e.g., mobile hotspot or alternate broadband) Reliable power supply with a backup source (e.g., inverter or UPS) Noise-cancelling headset for virtual meetings.
