They are seeking an intern for a remote role as a Video Editor / Graphic Designer, responsible for video editing, graphic design, and collaborating with the Creative Lead on various projects. Responsibilities • Edit short-form videos for social media, aligning with brand guidelines and project objectives. • Create simple video cuts, transitions, and add text overlays or basic motion graphics as needed. • Ensure videos are optimized for different social platforms and adhere to content calendar themes. • Design static social media graphics, such as Instagram posts, story templates, and banners. • Assist in creating basic visual assets, including infographics, icons, and branded templates for clients. • Follow design direction from the Creative Lead, ensuring all assets align with brand style guides and project specifications. • Work closely with the Creative Lead, participating in regular check-ins to review progress, receive feedback, and refine projects. • Apply feedback from the Creative Lead on all design and video work to meet brand standards and client expectations. • Organize and maintain digital assets, ensuring all files are correctly labeled and accessible. • Resize or format graphics and videos as needed for different social platforms, ensuring optimal presentation. • Stay updated on basic design and video editing trends relevant to social media, exploring new ways to enhance your skills. • Take advantage of guidance from the Creative Lead to build a strong foundation in video editing and graphic design fundamentals. Skills • Basic knowledge of design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar). • Understanding of social media formats and specifications, with an interest in creating content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. • Strong communication skills and willingness to receive and apply feedback. • Enthusiasm for visual storytelling, with a creative eye and attention to detail. • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently, meeting project deadlines and deliverables. • Video & Photo Editing, and Video Color Grading skills • Motion Graphics and Graphics design skills • Proficiency in video and graphic editing software • Strong attention to detail and creativity • Ability to work independently and remotely • Experience with social media marketing content creation is a plus Education Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Film, Design, Multimedia, or related field Benefits • Mentorship and hands-on experience working with a Creative Lead on real client projects. • Build your design and editing portfolio with projects from diverse industries. • Gain exposure to social media strategy, digital design, and content creation.
