[Remote] Internal Control Analyst

SSi People is seeking a detail-oriented Internal Controls & Third-Party Compliance Analyst to support activities related to internal controls, risk management, and third-party compliance processes. The role involves evaluating third-party participation in internal and client-facing engagements, improving analytical workflows, and supporting cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities • Support day-to-day internal control activities related to third-party compliance • Apply risk management requirements to assess third parties participating in projects and engagements • Identify opportunities to enhance processes using automation, analytics, and workflow improvements • Provide input on stakeholder communications to support efficient data gathering and execution of TPC procedures • Collaborate with teams including Finance & Accounting, Risk Management, and other key support functions • Document all work performed with clear and auditable support for analyses and reconciliations • Maintain professionalism, integrity, and accountability to uphold a respectful work environment Skills • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review, reconcile, and perform complex calculations using large datasets across multiple systems • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis, reconciliation) • Must have hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer for data preparation, blending, and analysis • Experience supporting compliance with audit requirements and internal control frameworks • Ability to clearly document workflows, reconciliations, and results with complete audit trails • Familiarity with risk-based audit approaches, internal controls, and transaction categorization • Understanding of federal and commercial cost accounting practices • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder discussions, inquiry handling, and presenting findings • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and produce effective, accurate deliverables • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all work • Experience in a Big Four or large professional services environment Company Overview • SSi People, located in Cranberry Township, PA, is an organization with over 25 years of staffing industry experience across various labor verticals in the United States, serving Fortune 1000 companies.
