[Remote] Interim Human Resources Director (6-month assignment)

They are seeking an experienced Interim HR Director to provide leadership across various HR functions during a period of transition, ensuring continuity and supporting executive leadership teams.ResponsibilitiesLead the management of employee benefits programmes across the United States and CanadaPartner with external brokers, consultants, and insurance carriers to ensure effective programme delivery and complianceOversee benefits governance and regulatory complianceSupport the ongoing review and enhancement of benefit offeringsLead annual compensation planning activities, including merit reviews and incentive programmesManage compensation communications and governance processesConduct market benchmarking and compensation analysisOversee job evaluation, job description development, and FLSA status determinationsManage the organisation's performance management and talent review processesCoordinate annual performance and succession planning cyclesDevelop and implement tools, resources, and training programmes for managers and employeesSupport leadership development and organisational capability initiativesProvide oversight of HR policies, procedures, and compliance programmesSupport employee relations matters, investigations, and regulatory requirementsEnsure compliance with applicable employment legislation and company policiesProvide oversight and governance of HRIS platforms and key HR processesSupport continuous improvement across HR operations and service deliveryUtilise workforce data and reporting to support decision-making and business planningAct as HR Business Partner to executive leaders across corporate, commercial, innovation, and business support functionsSupport leadership teams on organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagementServe as the primary corporate HR interface for teams in the Netherlands and IndiaLead and support members of the HR teamDrive effective communication of HR programmes, policies, and initiatives across the organisationSupport organisational change and business initiatives as requiredSkillsProven experience operating at HR Director level within a manufacturing, industrial, or multinational environmentStrong expertise across compensation, benefits, talent management, HR compliance, and employee relationsExperience supporting executive leadership teams and operating within complex organisational structuresKnowledge of US and Canadian employment practices and benefits administrationExperience leading HR teams and managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environmentStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsCompany OverviewQLM provides executive talent solutions across Food, Beverage, Ingredients & Flavours and Packaging.
