[Remote] Information Security Analyst I

Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is seeking an Information Security Analyst I to monitor and address information security alerts while working with customers to resolve reported issues. The role involves conducting security training, improving processes, and contributing to the development of information security policies and standards.ResponsibilitiesMonitoring and addressing information security alertsWorking with customers to resolve reported issuesParticipating in efforts to streamline processes and improve efficiencyConducting security training and awareness campaignsReporting on resultsConducting remedial trainingContributing to information security policy and standards as they are developed and maintainedProviding continuing education to others regarding information security best practicesSkills3 years of combined education and experience in computing and information securityBasic knowledge of security events and alert response activitiesAbility to self-organize, prioritize tasks, and find creative solutionsStrong communication skills while troubleshooting with end-users and collaborating with peersGeneral knowledge of desktop, server, application, database, network, and security rolesDemonstrate baseline knowledge of security conceptsExperience in a healthcare environmentCertifications from any of the following: ITIL, ISACA, CompTIA, EC-Council, Azure Security, AWS Security, Cisco, (ISC)², GIACBenefitsThis is 100% remote position.
