[Remote] Industrial Controls Engineer - Contract

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. DISHER is seeking an experienced Industrial Controls Engineer for our customer to support data center equipment. This is a 100% remote opportunity expected to last 6 months, with full-time onsite positions available in Memphis, Tennessee, Minneapolis, MN, and Oklahoma City, OK.ResponsibilitiesContribute to efficient and reliable sequences of operation for the functioning of data center equipment and systems within the product portfolioCompleting the assigned tasks and of the controls team and helping to develop sequence of operations in compliance with company goals and objectivesIdentifies opportunities to differentiate our controls strategies within the data center marketWorks with members of the controls team and other departmentsAccountable for the completion of sequence of operations, HMI development and on-time execution of testing that adhere to the product and customer specifications and requirementsContributes to the development of test plans and test scripts for performance and witness testingContributes to the efforts to automate end of line testingWorks directly with senior members on sequence of operation and test executionSkillsWorking knowledge of HVAC / data center controls strategiesKnowledge of relevant industry regulations and standardsAbility to review schematics and P&ID drawings, with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsAbility to create block programming, structured text and ladder logicAn understanding of fluid dynamics, psychrometric, and HVAC electrical systemsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent2+ years' experience in controls design and implementationSiemens PLCProven experience in controls strategy within the data center cooling industry, HVAC or HVAC-related fieldExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to work independently and as part of a team, with strong collaboration and interpersonal skillsProficient in HVAC software systems, DDC/PLC-based controllers, building automation protocols, pumps, VFD's and sensor/actuator systemsCompany OverviewDISHER Talent is more than just a recruitment agency; we are your strategic partner in the search for exceptional talent.
