[Remote] Implementation Consultant

ECI Software Solutions is a company specializing in B2B eCommerce software, and they are seeking an Implementation Consultant to successfully implement and provide ongoing consulting for customers utilizing their EvolutionX solution. The role involves leading customer sessions, monitoring implementation status, and developing documentation to support customers throughout the implementation phase.ResponsibilitiesBe the primary representative and go-to resource for new customers implementing the EvolutionX solution together with the customerMonitor and report status or implementations, maintaining clear communication with customers and internal teamsDevelop the implementation of comprehensive documentation for support resources to support customers during and after implementation phaseLead customer sessions with the objective of identifying and documenting: current and future business initiatives, gap analysis within current systems and/or processes, and reporting/data analytics requirementsImplement the software, considering aspects such as timeline, budget, scope, and delivery, following the implementation methodology and agreements with the team lead or project managerUnderstand and deliver upon the ECI implementation methodology, which includes the ability to assist the customer with the following:Requirements gathering through existing process reviewsSystem configuration and setupDefine solutions based on complicated customer business requirementsPre-implementation system testingECommerce based marketing concepts and set-upConcept validation and user acceptance testingData migration and data formatting recommendationsGo-live implementation tasks and post-go-live consultingConsulting recap/activity reportingEnsure timely and accurate project and time administrationIdentify and manage potential issues and escalations in coordination with the development team lead or project managerSkillsMinimum of 2 years' experience in support or implementation role, preferably B2B eCommerce sector or ERPPrevious experience leading customer trainingsUnderstand common business practices in manufacturing, operations, and distribution businessesAdvanced Excel skillsAbility to present technical concepts in a clear, concise manner to users with varying levels of technical expertise via video conference and in-personExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail, high-quality work, self-motivated and an internal desire to succeedExceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and adapt to changing situationsExcellent presentation and written/oral communication skills targeted to effectively present information to all customer role levelsBachelor's degree in information systems, or equivalent preferredCompany OverviewECI Software Solutions provides small and medium-sized enterprises with business management tools and cloud-based technologies.
