This role involves leading projects, providing technical consultation, and driving collaboration among various teams to ensure high-quality software and innovative design for both commercial and military programs.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical consultation and leadership during the design processProvide leadership and guidance in the design, development and verification processesCommunicate with business leaders and key stakeholders as needed to keep them apprised and updated on critical issues related to valves and actuatorsLead and engage with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) teams. Sign off on RCCA completionsChampion Lean methodsMentor and guide technical communityRole model identifying, quantifying, and mitigating technical risk against business risk. Mentor and coach the broader technical community in this areaDisseminate lessons learned across Engineering organizations and other functionsWork closely with other engineering teams, partners and vendors to ensure inter-operability and reusePropose and develop new technical solutions to difficult problemsDesign, create, fix, and review software written in C# and PythonSkillsBachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Software EngineeringA minimum of 8 years of software engineering experienceThis role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens.
