Overview
We're looking for a talented individual to join our team in the Birmingham, AL area. While this is a remote position, you will be required to travel to physician offices in the Trussville area and attend in-person training sessions and meetings in the Birmingham area as needed.
Position Overview
The Orders Tracking Coordinator will be responsible for providing end-to-end high-quality orders workflow, ensuring compliance with Aveanna Healthcare policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations and guidelines. Your primary focus will be on tracking and following up on physician orders, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining open lines of communication to resolve issues and challenges.
Essential Job Functions
Serve as the primary point of contact for physician orders, ensuring effective coordination and follow-up
Proactively communicate with all parties to ensure timely submission and return of signed orders
Collaborate with the HHH Division to maintain open lines of communication and resolve issues, challenges, and barriers
Process all orders by close of business each day, obtaining physician signatures as needed
Upload all orders into the EMR system on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Ensure the orders process follows all applicable local, state, or federal regulatory requirements, as well as Aveanna Healthcare policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and TEAMS
Prior experience in home health or public health services, with knowledge of medical terminology
Preferences
Experience with Home Care Home Base preferred
