The Human Resources Manager will support leaders and colleagues at the Cedar Rapids facility by driving human capital initiatives, managing performance, and enhancing colleague engagement. This role requires strategic leadership and collaboration across various HR functions to align HR strategies with business objectives.ResponsibilitiesProvide consultative support and partnership to the leaders and colleagues at the Cedar Rapids, IA Corn Plants and CoGenerational facilityLead activities and ensure successful achievement of objectives related to colleague engagement, workforce management, performance management, talent development, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, communications, and change managementImpact overall business performance and colleague engagement by providing strategic, creative, and collaborative leadership across assigned facilities and positionsDiagnose issues and opportunities proactively and take necessary action to bring timely resolutionInfluence operations leaders and build strong, cross-functional relationshipsSkillsBachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and work experience in a related field)6 years of HR experience with increasing levels of responsibility with at least 4 years of experience as HR generalist experience across multiple disciplines (e.g., workforce planning talent acquisition, career development) while interpreting and applying HR policies, procedures, programs and processesIn leadership capacity with or without direct report responsibilityIn a cross-functional team environment with exempt and non-exempt staffProficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelRequired to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the assigned facilitiesMay be asked to work mornings, afternoons, nights, and/or weekends based on the needs of the facilityMust work on-site at the manufacturing facility which will have physical and environmental aspects associated with such environment3 years' experience managing a cross-functional team with exempt and non-exempt staff in union and non-union capacitiesMasters Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field2 years' experience working in multiple locations1 year in leadership capacity with or without direct report responsibilityExperience developing, adapting, and/or facilitating trainingExperience actively serving as a strategic business partner for other parts of the organizationRelevant professional certifications (e.g. Professional in Human Resources)Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse line of businessBenefitsThe total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonusCompany OverviewADM unlocks the power of nature to enrich the quality of life.
