[Remote] Human Resources Coordinator

The HR Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth HR operations, coordinating core HR activities, and providing high-quality service to employees and leaders.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the end-to-end onboarding process, including offer documentation, HRIS entry, background checks, and cross-functional coordination with IT and hiring managersManage onboarding workflows in Workday, ensuring completion of tasks and compliance with company standardsFacilitate employee lifecycle transactions, including promotions, transfers, and offboardingMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and organizational structuresMonitor and manage the USAHR inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to employee inquiriesProcess employment verifications, unemployment claims, and routine documentation requestsCreate and track purchase orders and process HR-related invoicesSupport payroll processes by assisting with data validation and employee communicationsMaintain documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures for HR processesProduce and maintain regular HR reports (headcount, onboarding status, compliance tracking, etc.)Support the preparation of executive summaries and ad hoc reportsAssist with regulatory reporting, including EEO-1 and other compliance requirementsServe as a first point of contact for employee questions related to HR processes, policies, and programsProvide consistent, accurate information while escalating more complex issues appropriatelyDeliver a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactionsIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the employee experienceProactively troubleshoot issues and follow through to resolutionSupport HR projects and company-wide initiatives as neededSkills1-3 years of experience in an HR support, coordinator, or administrative roleExperience with HRIS systems (Workday strongly preferred)Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong problem-solving skills and initiativeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretionProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)BenefitsOpportunity for a bonus15 days of PTO + 21 paid holidays - including the week of July 4th and our year-end holiday break, paid volunteer time, and more!Robust benefits package: medical, dental, and vision plans, HSA with employer contributions, FSA, voluntary life insurance, and more!Company-paid basic life insurance, plus 100% employer paid short- and long-term disability.401(k) with employer match to help you build your future.Travel nationwide to our shows and connect with leaders across diverse industries.Work-life balance – we are flexible with you to allow you to be at your best on the jobEnsuring our employees have all the necessary tools to effectively perform their jobConstantly identifying training needs to grow and develop our employeesCompany OverviewBased in Shelton, CT, Clarion Events North America is one of the fastest growing and more diverse event organizers in the United States.
