[Remote] HRIS Analyst III - Workday Benefits

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Remote Workday HRIS Benefits Analyst III to manage the configuration and maintenance of Workday Benefits modules. The role involves system administration, process management, data accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts related to employee benefits.ResponsibilitiesManage the configuration and maintenance of Workday Benefits modules, including Health Care, Retirement, ACA, and other related areasSupport the annual Open Enrollment configuration, testing, execution, and post-enrollment auditsPartner with third-party vendors to set up and maintain EDI and integration files for benefits enrollment and eligibilityServe as the primary point of contact for Workday benefits-related system issues, enhancements, and troubleshootingMonitor benefit-related business processes to ensure transactions are flowing correctly through Workday and integrationsLead projects to implement new benefit offerings, regulatory changes, or system updates related to benefitsEnsure benefit elections, enrollments, terminations, and qualifying life event changes are processed accurately and timelyOversee audits of benefits data to ensure data integrity and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., HIPAA, ACA)Prepare and support required reporting (ACA reporting, etc.)Act as a liaison between HR, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors for all benefit-related systems mattersProvide training and documentation to HR and Benefits teams on Workday functionality and processesProvide tier-2/3 support for employee inquiries escalated from HR support teamsProactively recommend improvements in system design, processes, and user experienceStay current on Workday updates/releases and assess impact to benefits modulesParticipate in user group meetings, testing new Workday features, and implementation of system enhancementsSkillsBachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)5+ years of experience with HRIS administration, with a strong emphasis on Workday BenefitsExpertise in Workday Benefits configuration, Open Enrollment setup, EDI file management, and compliance reportingStrong understanding of employee benefits programs, rules, and regulations (Health, Welfare, Retirement, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA)Proficient in business process configuration, integrations, and reporting (e.g., Workday Report Writer)Excellent analytical skills and attention to detailStrong project management, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with Workday HCM & BenefitsWorkday Pro Certification in Benefits or related areas (a plus)Prior experience supporting multi-state or global benefits programsFamiliarity with SOX compliance as it relates to HR systemsCompany OverviewComfort Systems USA is a national heating, ventilation and cooling (HVAC) company It was founded in 1997, and is headquartered in Houston, Texas, USA, with a workforce of 10001+ employees.
