They are seeking a High School AP Business Curriculum Writer Consultant who will design comprehensive curricula for high school STEM subjects and ensure alignment with educational standards. The role involves collaboration with academic leaders and continuous improvement of curriculum materials based on feedback and performance data.ResponsibilitiesDesign full-course curricula for high school STEM subjects (e.g., AP Business with Personal Finance), including scope and sequence, unit plans, and daily lesson plansDevelop high-quality instructional materials, including: Student-facing lessons and problem sets Labs, projects, and real-world applications High-quality homework aligned with the course Formative and summative assessments with clear success criteriaEnsure alignment to New York State standards and Zeta’s academic vision and outcomesEmbed inquiry-based learning, conceptual understanding, and opportunities for analytical thinking and problem-solvingDesign assessments that measure both content mastery and application of skillsCollaborate closely with academic leaders, instructional coaches, and other curriculum writers to ensure coherence across courses and grade levelsUse feedback from educators and student performance data to iterate and improve curriculum materialsSkillsBachelor's degree in BusinessMaster's degree preferredAt least three years of experience with a proven record of developing rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum that drives strong student outcomesBenefitsWork schedule is flexible; deliverables and deadlines will be agreed upon with the designated project lead.Company OverviewZeta Schools builds and sustains high-performing schools that providing quality education to students.
