Remote HEDIS Nurse/Abstractor
This is a remote position.
Our client is currently seeking a HEDIS Nurse/Abstractor to support the healthcare team by ensuring accurate and timely data collection and reporting for HEDIS measures. The ideal candidate will have experience abstracting medical records and working with healthcare providers to meet quality improvement goals.
Responsibilities:
Ā Review and abstract medical records to ensure compliance with HEDIS measures.
Ā Accurately input and document data into the HEDIS reporting system following established office procedures.
Ā Conduct medical record audits to ensure quality and accuracy in data collection.
Ā Coordinate with healthcare providers to gather and verify the required data.
Ā Assist with the submission of HEDIS data and ensure compliance with reporting deadlines.
Ā Document all communication and interactions with healthcare providers and team members in a clear and organized manner.
Ā Collaborate with the quality improvement and data teams to ensure efficient operations and regulatory compliance.
Ā Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and data protection policies and procedures.
Ā Stay updated on HEDIS guidelines and industry trends to ensure ongoing compliance and accuracy.
Requirements:
Ā Active RN or LPN license in Pennsylvania.
Ā Experience with HEDIS data abstraction and reporting.
Ā Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and healthcare data systems.
Ā Must be able to work efficiently in a remote environment.
Ā MUST LIVE IN PA
