They are seeking a Healthcare Customer Service Advocate II to support customers in a fast-paced call center environment, handling inquiries related to benefits, claims, eligibility, and billing while providing excellent customer service.ResponsibilitiesAnswer inbound calls from customers and business partners regarding:Plan/product information and benefitsClaims questions and first-level claims researchEligibility and billing inquiriesProvide first-level issue resolution by gathering details, researching accounts, and confirming accuracy in the systemExplain benefit usage, limitations, and relevant plan details in an easy-to-understand wayDocument every interaction accurately in the system according to required guidelinesProvide basic technical support/troubleshooting for online portals, digital tools, and electronic applicationsPrioritize tasks and multitask efficiently (calls + multiple screens/systems) while meeting quality and performance goalsIdentify underlying needs and guide customers to the right resources, programs, or servicesParticipate in ongoing training to stay current on services, updates, and best practicesSkillsHigh School Diploma or GED3+ years of customer service experienceCall center experienceStrong empathy and ability to build trust quickly with customersStrong PC navigation and data entry skills; comfortable working across multiple applicationsClear verbal and written communication skillsHealth insurance / health plan / healthcare customer service backgroundExperience supporting benefits, claims, eligibility, and billing questionsBenefitsRemote work modelSupportive training and ongoing learningOpportunity to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needHealth and welfare benefits coverage options including medical, dental, vision, spending accounts, life insurance, voluntary plans, as well as participation in a 401(k) planCompany OverviewSystem One is a professional staffing firms.
