[Remote] HCM Payroll Business Analyst and Systems Implementation Lead

The role involves leading projects to modernize Human Capital Management (HCM) and payroll systems for government clients, while mentoring teams and delivering high-quality solutions.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with public sector clients to design and implement solutions that improve business processes and address organizational challengesLead and mentor business analyst teams in conducting detailed process analysis and system assessmentsAnalyze business operations and develop actionable recommendations for improvementFacilitate stakeholder meetings, interviews, and workshops to gather business and technical requirementsDocument staffing models, technology systems, workflows, and associated costsDeliver high-quality written reports, process documentation, and engaging client presentationsSupport proposal development, client relationship management, and business development effortsWork closely with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budgetSkillsUndergraduate degree and 5 to 8 years of professional experience in management consultingCurrent certification in one or more of the following: CBAP, CSM, PMI-PBA, or PMPIn-depth knowledge of HR/Payroll processesPrior experience implementing payroll or HCM software, including system configuration and testingStrong experience working with public sector clientsExperience working on HCM technology implementation projectsStrong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and quantitative skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)Self-motivated, flexible, and capable of working both independently and collaborativelyA consistent record of delivering high-quality work under tight deadlinesExperience leading small projects or coordinating cross-functional project teamsExperience working with enterprise-level government systems and public sector project lifecyclesExperience with requirements management software such as IBM ELM, Jira, Confluence, or othersBenefitsYour exceptional people experience starts here.
