[Remote] Global Policy Analyst

The Global Policy Analyst plays a key role in the Compliance and Government Relations function, responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and synthesizing legislative and regulatory developments across various jurisdictions. This position involves producing clear insights and supporting advocacy efforts through policy communications and materials development.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and track legislative and regulatory developments across 50+ jurisdictions globally, including federal, state, and international marketsIdentify and prioritize developments based on business relevance, risk, and strategic importanceProduce timely, concise memos summarizing new laws, regulatory changes, and emerging policy issuesProvide regular, real-time updates to the Director of Government Relations on key developments and trendsServe as an early-warning system by proactively flagging issues before they escalateMaintain and continuously improve legislative tracking systems and internal reporting processes (including Westlaw and internal tools)Conduct targeted research on priority jurisdictions or policy topics as neededTranslate legislative and regulatory developments into clear, business-relevant insights for internal stakeholdersSupport communication with business units on regulatory changes and implicationsRespond to internal inquiries regarding policy developments and provide informed, timely guidanceEnsure consistency and accuracy in policy-related information shared across teamsDraft policy briefs, one-pagers, and executive summaries to support decision-making and advocacy effortsDevelop position statements, testimony materials, and background documents for government relations activitiesAssist in preparing presentations, briefing materials, and structured communications for internal and external audiencesContribute to messaging development on key policy issues as neededProvide writing and research support during high-priority or time-sensitive situationsSkillsBachelor's degree in public policy, political science, international relations, communications, or a related field3โ6 years of experience in legislative analysis, government relations, regulatory affairs, or public policyDemonstrated experience tracking and analyzing legislation and regulatory developments across multiple jurisdictionsStrong writing skills, particularly in drafting concise policy memos, summaries, and analytical briefsProven ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insightsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage high volumes of information across multiple geographiesExperience supporting senior leaders or decision-makers with policy insightsAbility to work independently, prioritize effectively, and respond quickly to emerging issuesFamiliarity with legislative tracking platforms and legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw)Experience working in a corporate government relations or in-house policy environmentExposure to global policy issues across multiple jurisdictions (e.g., U.S., E.U., U.K., Canada, Australia, Latin America)Experience drafting policy briefs, position statements, testimony, or advocacy materialsFamiliarity with technology policy, digital platforms, or data privacy issuesExperience preparing executive-level briefing materials or presentationsMaster's degree in public policy, law, or a related field (preferred but not required)BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision coverageLife and Disability InsuranceHealth Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) with 50% company matchDependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Gym Membership Reimbursement up to $75 per month$175 Monthly Transportation Reimbursement (up to $100 may be applied toward home internet for remote or hybrid employees)401(k) with a 50% company match (no limit), to be vested at 20% per year after the first year over 5 yearsPTO accrual as required by law, 10 days of vacation per year, and 9 company-paid holidaysEligibility to participate in the companyโs discretionary profit-sharing programPotential annual cost of living adjustments (COLA)Company OverviewWeb development firm out of Seattle, WA.
