[Remote] Geopolitical Analyst I (Generalist) (EU or UK, Remote)

They are seeking a junior Geopolitical Analyst to support the Geopolitical Analysis team by drafting intelligence reports and maintaining knowledge of global geopolitical issues and their impact on strategic operations.ResponsibilitiesPrimarily support the regional desk leads within the Geopolitical Analysis teamTriage open source reports about key geopolitical events and draft daily intelligence reportsContribute to maintaining catalog updates of published geopolitical reports on countries’ threat environments and state-backed cyber threat groupsMaintain a working knowledge of global geopolitics and foreign affairs and how this impacts wider strategic goals/aims of the respective regions and elsewhereSeek opportunities to expand the team’s regional reporting coverage and suggest cross-regional themes for potential intelligence report curationBe able to form and/or contribute to predictive assessmentsDraw upon open and closed sources of intelligence to form well rounded, multi-sourced Finished Intelligence (FINTEL) reportsWork across multi-disciplined teams to draw upon experience and expertise towards a common goalSkillsStrong understanding of the global geopolitical environment and how it affects strategic operationsExperience focusing on regional geopolitics and/or foreign affairsAwareness of how the financially motivated cyber underground functions and how that intersects with wider geopolitics and foreign affairsSelf-starter who is comfortable creating something independently and working with little supervisionExperience creating analytical reports, with a keen eye for detailComfortable contributing to ongoing and developing projectsAble to work under pressure, to tight and changing deadlinesAble to analyze large data sets and identify trends, patterns and anomalies to form unique intelligenceOpen minded, stress resistant, and hands onUnderstanding of the Intelligence Cycle and how it affects the analytical workflowClear and concise communication skillsBenefitsCompetitive compensationRemote-friendly cultureWellness programsEmployee recognition programA variety of professional development opportunitiesInclusive culture focused on people, customers and innovationCompany OverviewIntel 471 is the premier provider of cybercrime intelligence for leading security, fraud, and intelligence teams.
