Job Posting Title Legal Counsel - Remote Job Description The Legal Counsel provides tactical legal advice and support to internal clients, typically at the Director or Vice President level.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Provide tactical legal advice and support to internal clients including PBM, pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, government programs, administrative support functions or other areas as assigned
ā¢ Perform research, drafting and transactional work in support of legal matters; may manage litigation efforts for assigned business area
ā¢ Advise internal clients regarding compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies; develop and facilitate legal training and investigate issues as needed
ā¢ Provide client training on legal principles
ā¢ Coordinate partnership with in-house and outside legal resources where appropriate
ā¢ Other duties as assigned
Requirements
ā¢ Juris doctor degree
ā¢ Current license to practice law in your state of residence.
ā¢ 5 years of experience practicing as an attorney or related legal experience in a regulatory or compliance role; with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with managed care companies or other health care clients.
ā¢ Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
ā¢ Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
ā¢ Ability to establish rapport and build relationships among all levels of the organization
ā¢ Demonstrated ability to distill complex concepts or situations into concise and compelling communications
ā¢ Expert communication, negotiation and influencing skills
ā¢ Every employee must understand, comply with and attest to the security responsibilities and security controls unique to their job, and comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and internal policies and procedures
