The FP&A Manager will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, collaborating with various departments to enhance visibility into business performance and support strategic decision-making.ResponsibilitiesSupport the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processesHelp maintain financial models for revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, cash flow, and scenario planningDevelop forecast assumptions in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and AccountingLead variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior yearIdentify risks, opportunities, and key business drivers impacting financial performanceAnalyze sales performance by customer, channel, SKU, product line, and regionPartner with Sales to evaluate customer-level profitability, volume trends, pricing, deductions, trade spend, and promotional ROISupport monthly customer and channel reviews with actionable insightsHelp improve forecast accuracy by connecting sales forecasts to demand planning, shipment trends, customer plans, and historical performanceEvaluate new customer opportunities, and pricing changesMonitor gross margin performance by SKU, customer, and channelAnalyze COGS, freight, warehousing, manufacturing, co-packer costs, ingredient costs, packaging, and yield variancesPartner with Operations and Supply Chain to understand cost drivers and margin improvement opportunitiesSupport standard cost updates, cost savings initiatives, and margin bridge analysisProvide financial support for new product launches, reformulations, and operational changesOwn departmental expense reporting and forecasting across key functionsPartner with budget owners to review spend, identify variances, and update forecastsSupport headcount planning, marketing spend analysis, G&A tracking, and department-level accountabilityImprove visibility into fixed versus variable costs and discretionary spendingPrepare monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadershipDevelop clear dashboards, KPIs, and financial summaries that highlight business performanceSupport board reporting, investor materials, lender reporting, and strategic projects as neededTurn financial data into practical business recommendationsImprove reporting cadence, data accuracy, and financial storytellingImprove FP&A processes, templates, models, and reporting toolsPartner with Accounting to ensure actuals are accurate, timely, and aligned with reporting needsSupport implementation or optimization of planning, ERP, BI, and reporting systemsHelp build scalable finance infrastructure as the company growsSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field5–8 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, accounting, or business analyticsCPG, food and beverage, manufacturing, or consumer products experience requiredStrong understanding of P&L management, gross margin, trade spend, COGS, inventory, and operating expensesAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skillsExperience with ERP, planning, and reporting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, Adaptive, Anaplan, SAP, Power BI, Tableau, or similar toolsAbility to work with large data sets and translate analysis into clear recommendationsStrong communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally with non-finance teamsHigh attention to detail, strong business judgment, and ability to manage multiple prioritiesBenefitsExcellent Health care coverage for you and your familyGenerous time off: the freedom you need to take time away from work to rest and rechargePay It Forward or Give It Back: 20 hours paid time each year to volunteer.
