The role involves managing budgets, preparing financial forecasts, and collaborating with leadership to drive strategic initiatives in healthcare finance.ResponsibilitiesProvides complex financial analysis support to various entities both fully owned and joint venturesAssists in the efficient and cost-effective operation of BSWHPrepares the operating and capital budget(s) for assigned areasPrepares the 5-year financial operating forecast to include statistics, payer mix, payments capital, etcPrepares examination and presents and justifies findings, for any potential capital acquisitions, projects, new services, etcPrepares, Manages, and Analyzes financial information related to the end of month close cycle, including root cause analysis and technical accounting researchSupports the monthly accounting close process by preparing and reviewing various journal entry information and performing accounting researchPerforms and communicates moderate to complex analysis for external users of financial informationProactive use of technology to provide timely information to leadershipProvides timely reconciliation and invoicing to contractsPerforms accounting research and supports due diligence to contract requirementsProvides ongoing budget vs. actual revenue and expense variance analysis. Reviews both standard and custom reports developed for the entityPrepares verbal or written results of examination of operating efficiencies and presents/discusses them with management and others as requiredDevelops and produces Management Reports as required/requestedAble to perform ad hoc requests in addition to daily/monthly responsibilitiesMaintains professional growth by joining educational programs and organizations.
