[Remote] Finance Value Creation - Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CFGI is seeking a Consultant to support private equity value creation initiatives, portfolio company performance improvement programs, and internal strategic initiatives. This role will focus on financial analysis, value capture tracking, financial reconciliation, business case development, and performance reporting.ResponsibilitiesSupport development of value creation playbooks and financial performance frameworksConduct financial, operational, and business performance analysesTrack realized versus projected savings and EBITDA impact across initiativesPerform financial reconciliations, variance analyses, and benefits realization trackingDevelop business cases and support opportunity sizing effortsBuild financial models to assess cost reduction, margin improvement, revenue growth, and working capital opportunitiesSupport monthly performance reporting and executive-level financial updatesPartner with initiative owners to validate assumptions, financial impact, and value capturePrepare board-ready financial analyses, dashboards, and presentationsSupport strategic finance initiatives and special projects across the organizationSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related fieldTwo to five years of experience in FP&A, transaction advisory, strategic finance, consulting, accounting, business analytics, or operational financeStrong financial modeling and analytical capabilitiesAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsExperience with financial reporting, variance analysis, and reconciliationsStrong attention to detail and financial rigorExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesExperience in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, FP&A, valuation, consulting, or private equity-backed environmentsExperience supporting value creation, benefits realization, or EBITDA improvement programsExperience building executive dashboards and KPI reportingExposure to private equity clients or portfolio companiesExperience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Anaplan, Adaptive, or similar toolsCPA, CFA, or progress toward certificationCompany OverviewCFGI is a corporate finance and financial consulting firm that specializes in complex accounting, reporting, tax, and compliance issues.
