They are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the daily operations of the trading desk, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and manage risk exposure. Responsibilities • Setup and manage the daily, monthly & year end accounts • Manage the day-to-day operations of the trading desk (middle / back office) monitoring market movements and providing market analysis • Ensure compliance with the local policies and guidelines on FX transactions • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, security, and customer satisfaction • Manage the settlement process for FX transactions, including reconciling trade confirmations, verifying payment instructions and resolving any discrepancies or issues • Liaise with banks, payment service providers, and other external parties to facilitate FX and Cross border payments / settlements • Manage the risk exposure of the trading desk, including setting limits, monitoring positions, and reporting any breaches or incidents • Maintain accurate and complete records of all transactions, reports, and audits • Train and supervise staff on operational processes and best practices • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the FX and securities markets Skills • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field • At least 5 years of experience in FX trading (Global / Africa) or payments operations, preferably in a lead or manager role • Knowledge of the Cameroon FX banking regulatory environment and market dynamics • Proficiency in using trading platforms, tools, and software • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethics • Fluent in English, both written and spoken Company Overview • Mamoru is a financial firm that provides solutions to facilitate access to crypto.
