This role requires collaboration with both U.S. and European teams, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate financial records while supervising a Finance Assistant.ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive leadershipCollaborate closely with the European Finance Team on consolidated reporting, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and financial analysisManage quarterly and annual intercompany reconciliation auditsSupport international financial reporting requirements and ensure consistency between U.S. and European entitiesPrepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports for leadership and corporate stakeholdersOversee customer invoicing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliationsMonitor aging reports and proactively manage outstanding receivablesPartner with project managers and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely billingRespond to client inquiries regarding invoices, payment status, and account balancesOversee vendor invoice processing, approvals, and payment schedulesManage ACH and wire transfer paymentsMaintain vendor relationships and resolve payment inquiriesEnsure accurate expense coding and proper allocation to budgets and cost centersMaintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policiesRecord and review all monthly accounting transactions, including revenue, expenses, payroll, intercompany activity, and treasury transactionsPerform revenue recognition and related month-end adjustmentsEnsure integrity and accuracy of financial data across systemsSupport development of annual budgets and periodic forecastsAnalyze historical spending trends and develop financial projectionsMonitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to managementManage cash flow forecasting and treasury activitiesAdminister profit distribution schedulesCoordinate banking, insurance, and corporate finance activitiesPrepare supporting schedules and reports for corporate stakeholdersSupervise and develop one Finance AssistantReview accounting work for accuracy, completeness, and complianceEstablish priorities and provide guidance for daily accounting operationsEnsure compliance with regulatory, tax, and corporate reporting requirementsSupport external audits and tax filingsMaintain strong internal controls and accounting proceduresSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experienceExperience managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functionsExperience working within multinational or international organizationsPrior supervisory experienceAdvanced proficiency in SAP (Business by Design)Experience with QuickBooksStrong understanding of ERP systems, financial reporting, and accounting controlsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial analysisKnowledge of revenue recognition principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work effectively across international teams and culturesStrong organizational and time-management skillsSelf-starter capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCPA, CMA, or MBAExperience supporting intercompany accounting and consolidated financial reportingBenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision plans401k with company matchLife Insurance, Short & Long-term Disability PlansPaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick/Personal & Paid Holidays)Employee Referral ProgramTraining & Development & Company RetreatsWellness Resources/Employee Assistance ProgramRemote - must live in the US (preferable the East Coast due to time difference with EU).Company Overviewfme is a trusted partner in the life sciences industry, driving digital transformation through expert data and document migration services.
